I hit the "custom" button when you are supposed to choose your faction but it only comes up with a list of names of your faction and so, but nothing about changing the planet or the police rating and so. Anyone now how to do it because it would be really cool. I hope you doesn�t have to go change some files because I�m not good at that.
I would be really happy if someone answered.

Check the 'Factions' forum; there's lots of discussion there that shd answer your question....its fairly straight forward when you know what the faction.txt file does.
The cool thing is that if you create a new faction of your own, you can use a custom pic of your leader if you want (you have to size it right, and ensure its the same file type.....but any shareware graphics app shd be able to do that).
