I most likely missed this somewhere, but I was wondering if it was possible to disband a base (besides having it eraticated by military forces). I still don't care too much for how the computer places its bases (I won't place a base if it overlaps, while the computer still does it consistently) and wondered if disbanding bases was possible. I tried building Colony Pods at a Population 1 base, but it did nothing. Does this game not allow disbanding at lower difficulty levels like (I believe) Civ2 did? Refused

At lower difficulty levels, I believe that new colony pods don't remove a point of population. It works as you expect at the higher levels (Talent and above?) In fact, if you build a colony pod in a pop-1 base, the game will warn you that the base will be disbanded, and allow you to delay production of the pod, change production to something else, or proceed to disband. |

At the lower levels, the city size is decreased by one, it just doesn't allow disbanding. Oh well, guess I have to restart another game. Thanks for the information. |
