My favorite VO, other than "We must dissent" is when you quit the game and the VO says "Sir, don't go, the Drones need you".

I like the "Spatan Kell". I wonder if firaxis will ever post a summary of the way the game went "historicaly". Seems like the spartans were whooping the Gians royal, until technology changed on them (sing engine?), their projectile-orientated army became obselete, the gaians perphected psi combat (dream something, mary had a little lamb...) so there army became pretty much good for nothing (tacheon field), so the gaians annialated them (fall of sparta).

The voice-over that drives me crazy is the one they play when you select Zakharov (I forget which tech it's from). He says that behind every level we find new mysteries or something, but then says "behind atoms we find electrons and behind electrons quarks."

Doh! Everybody knows that electrons are fundamental particles. He means that behind _protons_ we find quarks. I demand an immediate patch for this horrendous bug!

Xerxes, people have not always known that electrons were parts of atoms. It even took a long time before people discovered atoms at all. I think that's the point.
Personally, I like the Children's creche and the rec. commons very much. The network node is VERY funny.

I like the quote for the tech "organic superlubricant" where the morgan guys says "organic superlube! O it's great stuff, great stuff. But you got to keep an eye on it ... " I love the way he says.

no no no....the coolest voice over is the one where you build they give the altered Descartes quote about the fooling of the senses....

For a philosophy student that had to study Descartes this semester, that one actually had me laughing the first time I heard it...

I love the Robotic Assembly Plant voice over. That old quote from the John Henry fables reminds me of elementary school. Also if you listen hard enough, you can hear the lifeblood of progressive American industry flowing through it
