1) I'm not sure if the Tech report (F2? I generally hit F4 or F6 and then use the icons to travel to the lesser reports) lets you see what you already have.2) Barring other restrictions (rocky means no farms, etc.), you generally can have a farm (or soil enricher) plus ONE of sensor/mine/solar/condenser. Boreholes can't coexist with anything. Forests can only coexist with sensors. (Roads can go with anything, so I don't count them in the "anythings" above).
When you have high enough Centauri tech/special projects, you can build non-farm things on fungus squares but mostly that's useless: Although I think you can build a solar or a mine on a fungus square at this point in 2.0, it doesn't do any good. You *can* build a sensor on a fungus square though.
For sea squares, the choices are much more limited. You can have fungus OR kelp. If you have nothing or kelp, you can have a tidal generator or a mining platform. With the requisite techs/projects, I have built a mine on a sea fungus square, but it didn't produce any extra minerals.
