Greetings all, I was wondering if there was any way to do the following:

Create a tech which increase the scanning range of a sensor array: i.e. three-four hexes instead of two.

Create a tech which increases bonus for sensor arrays, perhaps +25% offensive etc.

Create a wonder which would allow for cloaking bases.

Create a wonder which would allow movable bases (I doubt it.)

Create mobile unit which would provide bonuses similar to sensor arrays.

A portable borehole? Thats probably too far out, I know its not a portable hole, don't even start. I'm refering to having a borehole act as a unit on the map, I'm the type to flush realism down the toilet as long as the results add something new to the game. Plus for some odd reason the concept is incredible amusing.
"HAHAHA, I just captured your pop 12 base and I......wait a sec, where are all the boreholes going?"

Modify the rules so a supply crawler can send resources to a different factions base. This is probably possible now in m/p, but I'd rather be able just to drive it out, park it, and ship the goods to where ever I want it instead of having to drive to the base, home it, then drive back out into the wilderness.

Modify the game so I could sell projects. I'd love to build the Human Genome project then dangle it in front of U.N players "Come on, just sell some buildings, 500 creds won't kill yah....". Before you say it, yes we can just give the A/I the city the projects in, but we can't do that in online games (damn it), and I always have more than one project in a given city.

Modify the game so I could move projects. Yah, I can't find many reasons to support that one myself. Its just after capturing the Merchant Exchange from the U.N I'd like to be able to move it to the Sunny Mesa where my HQ is located and where it would do the most good. I'm assuming we can't destroy them then rebuild them elsewhere.... or can we?

Create mobile bunkers? Sort of a Mobile Sensor Array attached to a unit Transport perhaps?
Sorry if it seems like I'm trying to attach wheels to everything on Alpha Centaurii, I can't help it.

Self Destructable cities. It would be a building type that when activated, obliterates the base and everything in a 2 hex radious. We have planet busters now, but I'm looking for something more pedestrian and insulting when a player is about to capture a city. Maybe have the downside of the building creating more drones. I'd expect a bit of unreast when the citizens discover a nuclear warhead is being built beneath the city streets.

Create a Land Mine (the type that amputates) terraform command. I'd like to have a surprise ready the next time those U.N freaks start driving down my roads in thier probe teams.

I haven't performed a shred of research on any of this, and though some of these ideas are probably half-baked, the first few are my main concerns. Feel free to shoot them down. I'd love to hear of any other modifications people have done (besides the faction bonus changes).
Oh, and one last thing, please for the love of pete let us trade cities in M/P! If the A/I in single player can do it so should we!

I don't think most of your ideas can actually be done in the current game but some of the ideas are pretty good, like extended sensor range, mobile sensors and rigged cities. Land mines might be an atrocity because of the ban on land mines.
