As much fun as I've been having single-player, it competiton just isn't all that great. I don't really have any blocks of time large enough to play a normal multiplayer game, so does anyone want to get a PBEM going? The only requirment is that you be willing to take the 2 minutes nessecary to complete a turn as often as possible.

The settings will be:

All forms of victory allowed.
Blind Research OFF.
Everyone must use Librarian difficulty. (this is the point where we are on even terms with the comp, and also what I have found to be most fun in the few multiplayer games I've played. )

Can't think of anything else right now. Email me if you want to get a game going.

Sure. I would love to. I have the same exact problem as you. When do you want to play?

Sure, I'll join, but I would like to mention a BIG flaw with the PBEM... 500 turn game at about 1 turn per day (if lucky) it'll last over 1.5 years!

I would be with ya.
But I am not able to do more than 1 or two turns a day. On weekends more.

Hrm. I'm game. This whole concept of play-by-email for this sort of game is really rather intriguing; I'm interested to see how it works.

I would love to join a game... I hope the german version can be linked with other versions.
One turn per day would be really good and on weekends perhaps two (theres just the time zone problem :>

hope to hear from you

Ok. Go on. I won't be able to do it more than once a day, though....

I just started a game. I can start another one though-each one only takes about five minutes a day to do anyway. If you want to play, EMAIL me. ([email protected]) I think I'm going to do a scenario this time though, so it gets going faster. When you email me, BTW, tell me what factions you want, since I have to set all of that crap up.

If you want to get used to the tech tree, blind research is sort of a bad idea. Actually, playing a PBEM without blind research would help, since you have plenty of time to go over the tech tree in between turns.

Anyway, email me if you want to play. I'll keep starting games whenever I get enough. If you have more than one going at once, then if one stalls for a week because someone's email is down, it is no big deal.
