I just invented it, Submarine Aircraft Carrier. He he....

As for the 'funniest looking' category, I nominate a unit I created. It was a "Drop Probe Rover MK2" ;
basically a rover chassis with Level 1 armor , a probe, and drop pods. Damn thing looks like a Corvette with rocket boosters and a Giant Cattle prod on the hood..
Strangely enough... even with the armor, it wouldn't let me drop it into enemy territory, because it was a non-combatant. Too bad. Drop Probe teams wouldv'e rocked.. =)

The game will let you drop probe teams into enemy territory if you have units in there. Drop the probe teams into your units' ZOCs. Kinda like securing the landing site for them first.

Hmm.. not quite as kool as some '007' guy dropping in from the sky, stealing your plans for 'project X', and running off with your daughter, but what the hey.. it's better than nothing...

I still think it goes to Formers with Hypnotic Trace -- The Trance Former.

Its not quite as good as Submarine Aircraft Carrier, but I liked the "Drop Singularity Hovertank Colony Pod"
What a great way to colonize a large map with lots of Islands...
Now if I could just get Drop Sea Colony Pods...

I prefer Colony Intercepters for those long distance cities, hehe. Of course, once you can make orbital insertions, drop colony pods are better. (much cheaper too)

Drop Formers are the units which provide me with the most amusement.

I like those trance formers. The really neat thing is that trance formers are actually very effective units (it's incredibly annoying having your formers being picked off by mind worms all of the time).
