Hi, I'm from Brazil and I've been a fan of Sid Meier's games for a long time (more than I can remember...). Few days ago, I send an e-mail to Firaxis asking them if SMAC would be released in Brazil, and when... But, unfortunately, I got no answers. Is it possible that the guys at Firaxis have any kind of prejudice against me because of my nationality? I hope not... So I decided to send this message to SMAC forum. Maybe Firaxis can give me some feedback now.
So, just to reinforce it: are there any plans for releasing a portuguese version of SMAC in Brazil? This wonderful game would be a smash hit here, at least that's what one can tell from the huge "frisson" its releasing caused in our gaming community.
I would be very grateful if someone at Firaxis could answer my question.

It's all in EA's hands now. We're working on a localized Spanish version, though I'm not sure where EA is sending it.

Thanks for the answer. Well, I think I'll start to bother EA now... :-D
Anyway, I'm thankful for your attention. And, as a hardcore brazilian gamer would say, "Longa vida ao SMAC!", which means "Long life to SMAC!"
