Author Topic:   How do you make your own factions?

The last question in the FAQ is about making your own factions. Aside from the standard rule editing it mentioned creating your own image files as well as other things. Maybe I'm dense, but I can't figure it out. Is there some sort of useful help file about this that I missed or could somebody help me (and I'm sure a lot of other people) out?

In the game directory (wherever you installed it at) there are a bunch of .txt files. The factions are all there (HIVE.TXT, PEACE.TXT, etc.), just open them with NOTEPAD, change the value to whatever you want and save it as a text file. The master rules are located in ALPHA.TXT which has the guide for changing the variable names in the faction files.
