Couple of things about units on alert that are kind of ... odd. I find needlejet interceptors work just great. They seem to be flying around all over the place mindlessly, but if nothing else, they're scaring off Yang's bombers, letting my formers work. Helicopters in cities sorta work. Sometimes they'll go out and blow things up that are getting closer. Other times, they seem to care less. And after they kill something, they'll run back and forth instead of landing to save the damage. Boats don't seem to work. I have battleships on Alert outside of most of Yang's cities, to keep him in there, but it seems when his boats show up, they always attack me, instead of me firing first like I should. Am I missing something?

Well, naval units don't scramble like air units. They'll attack at the start of your turn (automatically), but they won't during the other factions turn. Make sense?jkm firaxis games |

Yeah, makes sense. Disappointing, but, makes sense. Maybe I'll have to try staioning carriers with attack jets. I'm gonna blockade whole nations/factions if it kills me.
