I haven't got to the stage in the game where I have planet busters yet, but I was curious...can you drop them on empty territory without units or bases? You could use them to create water chanels, etc...like the russians did with nukes. Would it count as an atrocity?

Hi,Hellrazor you're my kinda guy. I think you might be able to use a PB that way if you moved it to where you want and then have it self distruct. HAAAHAHAHAAH! I LOVE PBs. Just the right thing for taking out Hive cities, especially those that are too far inland to bombard with the cheap ships. Arty is just to freaking expensive. Instant lakefront property, V'ger gone

Yes you could do this and don't know about the atrocity. You don't want to do this though. The planet buster is awesome baby. Only problem is that the area of effect is about 5 square area that gets reduced to sea level. The explosion looks really cool to.I nuked a worm that was getting ready to attack my capital. I was tired of the all the worms attacking me. I nuked the worms alright. And the upgrades, and the troops, and 2 cities. Really, Realy big fire ball. I like it. Fire ..hugh ..hugh .. hugh .. burn

"...the area of effect is about 5 square area that gets reduced to sea level."Not so. the size is 1 + Reactor Rating. So, for a fission PB, the radius is 2. That's why I keep a few of these on hand -- much better tacnukes than the singularity variety. |
