Does anyone know if there Is a limit to the number of Special Rules that can be added to a faction? I tried making a custom-made faction with advantages and disadvantages for the social factors, gave it a few technologies, and so forth. But while checking to see if it all works out, the game seems to cut off the rest of the Special Rules after a certain number of Rules, and after a certain point on each line.Is this a bug, error on my part, part of the program, or what?

Did you try playing the faction and finding out what you *really* had? It could be the display was simply unable to list everything, but in reality you got it all... |

Not yet, but the way I have the Special Rules set, I placed all the Social stuff together before any of the other Rules other than Tech. Also, all the Social rules are being used to give my faction either a disadvantage or advantage. So, at one point, I was getting only the first 3 of my Special rules working in the game. After some playing with the text lines, I took out the spaces after the commas, and then finally I was able to get all my Special rules in. In order to test to see if the other rules would work, I logically figure that if I took one of my Social rules and place it at the end of the Special Rules list that I have, then that Social rule which I moved should still show up. So, after I made that change and tried my faction, that particular Social rule didn't show up at all. As a result, I'm guessing that there's some kind of number of characters per line limitation and/or number of lines for Special Rules for the game. |
