Ohh yeah yet another yet another question.
How do i check out what technology i have ?
hmmm this brings up another question what technology should i research in the beggining ?

You can check which technology you have by pressing F2 (it's also an option through the HQ menu somewhere).
In the (VERY) beginning, the obvious research goal is Secrets of the Human Brain. Ya need Social Psych and Biogenetics first. Gives you one free tech, which never hurts. After that it would depend how you play.
