The manual says that if you use these too much, they'll disappear. Has this happened to anyone? How much do you have to use it? Do repairs count or just upgrades? I love my monolith; they make great field hospitals.

i have seen this happen in a game, but the monolith that disappeared on me was one i was using as a field hospital in enemy territory; so i dont know how often santiago had used it to make it go away.. but i never had that happen in the demo no matter how often i used a monolith.. i hope they have a lot of charges, but now i only use them on a absolute need basis... o well

Just happened to me today for the first time. I must say it was quite a surprise. I didn't notice any message, there was no fungal bloom it just wasn't there after my newly minted silksteel tance garrison had hiked clean across my empire to the base adjacent to the monolith. Since I missed the reference in the manual as well, imagine my dismay.
