Okay, I'm under the impression that you can name map areas, however, when I tried to use the naming thing, nothing happens.

And to Firaxis, the game is amazing. I'd be playing it right now, but I want to get to sleep tonight

See p. 33 if you have the English version of the manual. Happy naming! :-)

Whoops! Obviously you've tried this already. My apologies for not reading more carefully.

naming works great for me.

First ... choose the square for the "name" ... you can use SHIFT along with RIGHT MOUSE CLICK to do this (this step might be optional).

Then type SHIFT+N (a capital N).

A box pops up for you to type in your "name"

That name now looks just like the built in ones like Mount Planet.

Thanks all. I had to name a battle, and it wasn't working before, but now, the "Battle of Martyres" will be forever known

It was my first conquest after all.
