I�m waiting for a long time and now since the US and Australia are already playing I�m wondering when it�s going to be available in Europe, especially in Germany.
Please!!! tell me if you�ve already got a finnal release date or if you�ve allready got the game.

Tough luck. Went to my local software-retailer in Amsterdam. He couldn't tell me when it would be available...

"Yessss, my young lady, could you please gently kindly make sure that you set aside one box for me with my name written on it please would you?"
(reassured and a bit boasting)"Oh, but we ordered so many many much copies of that game, so there is no need for reservations, for we will not run out of stock, so we don't take reservations, cause in less than two weeks you can buy it"(big smile)
(moan, grunt)"thanks, goodbye, huh... beware, I know where I can find you..."

Here in finland one shop has a note that game will arrive on 18th of this month.
So we hae two votes for 18th (tOFfGI)

I have heard two dates for the UK, the 12th (tomorrow!!) or on Monday (15th).

I talked to my local dealer who phoned EA in Aachen (Germany) while I was waiting. They told him that the release date is still the 18th of February, so if you ordered a copy it will arrive in time.
By the it sucks to wait another week, the game is so cool and I played only the demo.
The release dates of many games of EA-Europe are normally the same than the American ones.
But this time they are not, DAMN!!!
You Australian and American guys must really feel lucky!

I just hope that it�ll be here on the 18th I can�t wait until I get the full version.
It�s such a cool game and they�ve made anyone anxious to get it and now it takes forever to get it.

Boom Boom,I think SMAC will be available in the UK on Monday the 15th,because I couldn't find it in London today(the 13th).I hope you're right!

Why is there no update on the German SMAC Homepage since Nov 23rd?

RE. the Australians and Americans being lucky. Well, yes, I suppose we are and I'm equally surprised it got here (Australia) just near release! Excellent! Of course, Australia did get left off the 'registration' list of countries but, hey, Austria is still there! (P.S. I did receive a reply about this - no International email reg is possible anyway).

I couldn't find it yesterday, and the EB where I live says it is coming out on Friday (19th I think). They might have it in HMV on Oxford Street earlier, but i won't go to Central London during the week (having to work and that sort of thing), so I am going to reserve it here, and pick it up for the weekend.
I've finally got the demo (PC ZONE)now anyway, so I can keep busy for a bit (at least 'till the weekend).Talking about PCZONE, they gave SMAC 92% and siad it was CIV in space suits, but it was the best TBS game money could buy.

Come on Firaxis! You have thousands of Brit' fans dying to play this game, thanks to Sid Meier and Brian Reynolds being on the team and PC ZONE carrying the demo' on their cover disc. WHEN IS IT ARRIVING IN UK???
