The DEMO has been #1 in the Best PC Games download charts for the last 5 weeks. It missed the first week it was out.
The commercial version (boxed retail version) is not yet listed on the voting choices list!!! But you can still vote for it by using this webpage:
http://www.worldcharts.nl/gtype.html
You then fill in 4 boxes:
1 - TITLE: Alpha Centauri
2 - Developer/Publisher: Firaxis/EA
3 - Category: Strategy
4 - Type: Commercial
Click DONE and fill out the rest as usual. Give it 5 points (you get 20 points to vote with, max of 5 per game). While you are voting, you may as well vote for Alpha Centauri {Demo} [3131] to keep the demo in the top #1 spot in the download charts.
It would very nice to have Alpha Centauri as #1 commercial game the first week it enters the charts!

Hmmm ... not sure if capitalization needs to be exact or not, but Demo should be "demo" all lower case (just in case) as shown:

I think the voting for this week ends either Saturday or Sunday ... so VOTE NOW if you want to help SMAC start off on the charts as high as possible its first week!

well, I doubt any game anytime soon will beat the juggernauts that are Baldur's Gate and Half Life...they'll be holding the 1-2 positions for a good half a year.
