Since this is the demo, I don't have the resources, or the cities to keep conquered bases, so I usually obliterate them. The game then gives a message saying "x number of <conquered faction> citizens put to death". I've noticed that if you hold on to the conqered base long enough, then obliterate the base and the message then reads "x number of <your faction> citizens put to death." Anyone know how many turns that takes?

It MAY be 50 years, because that is how long it takes for the conquest penalty (extra drones in conquered territory) to go away entirely. |

i don't have any trouble keeping conqured bases. i have had upto 18 bases in the demo. build your 10 first, then take as many as you can. if they are not self supporting, give them to the Beleivers. lol (after you sell all the remaining buildings)
