I'm not sure this is the right forum for this question, but, when I installed the patch for Alpha Centauri the games sound went from normal to having an echo after EVERYTHING. This is incredibly annoying and I want to know if this is an isolated problem. If its not how do I make it stop.

Patch 3.0 right?
It did this to me as well, but check the troubleshooting forum. I think it's the lines in alphacentauri.ini: ds3d and eax. I think I changed them from 1 to 0. It worked for me, but some people still had problems with this fix.
