Author Topic:   Yet another energy maintenance bug...

Always playing as the UoP, I've decided to try another faction. I picked Deirdre, and started to play on Transcend. I soon stumbled into what seemed a major energy shortage (~-10/y, decreasing). After several turns (while still having income, no loses) I checked the Energy Maintenance Report. As it turned out, the numbers subtracted from my gross income were 7X *bigger* than my real maintenance cost. Fortunately, it had no effect on the game (the energy reserves were calculated normally). Did anyone else experience this rather confusing bug (v 3.0, English)?

I've have the report say my energy had a shortage and my reserves went up and I wasn't opening pods. I was playing Dierdre too.
Perhaps she is blessed/cursed by the energy gods?

Yes, I've seen this bug as well... not only as Deirdre, but as UoP as well (if I remember rightly). On the main game stats screen (in the middle of the regular play screen) it said I had a net loss of something like -10 per turn, but my actual credit reserves kept going UP by something like +20 per turn. I just ignored it... it hasn't happened for a while, so whatever causes it, it's intermittent.
