The time has come to crush Yang and his fanatic hordes once and for all.
Due to his latest foul deed, his tech matches ours. He is in the process of upgrading his massive but obsolete army into a modern fighting force, capable of overrunning his neighbors' poorly trained garrisons, but we still have time for a preemptive strike.
Because Yang needs large amounts of energy for his modernization program, which will be complete decade or so, he has switched over to a free market economy. This leaves his army unprepared as of this time.
A sudden state of war would force him to deploy his forces. Such a deployment would, by necessity, force him to switch over to a planned economy, which would drastically cut his energy income and thus preclude his modernization plans.
If we declare war NOW, we will possess a technological edge which will ensure the
complete destruction of his forces.
P.S. : It is noted that we will also switch to a planned economy for the duration of the conflict to avoid massive drone riots and to increase production. I advocate building punishment spheres in cities where drone control will be a major problem, such as Los Angeles and New York.
