I have problems with the game not letting me upgrade to better units (primarily needlejet units). This started me to think, can you change to upgrade procedure to a upgrade/downgrade procedure? Thus you can upgrade/downgrade to any unit that is still in production. If it is an upgrade it costs energy, if it is a downgrade, you should get energy back. This could be a good way to earn quick and dirty energy in a tight game by downgrading units far from the war.... Thanks.

UMM... Tiger, that makes no sense. I mean, it makes sense from a gameplay standpoint, but not from a logistical standpoint. Even as simple a "downgrade" as stripping off armor takes time and manpower, thus the energy cost--even if you can reuse that same armor on another unit.
