Earth to EA, the month of April is missing...

So is our thread on making the civ game.

Anyhow, here's what I was going to post:

Glak? Al Gore Rhythm? Where'd you go?

I am in the process of redesigning a full-screen, less sloppy version of Voxel Paint. Did anyone look at the screenshots or what?

After I get that functional, I'll work on the 'bubbly' 2d terrain, then I can link the two and we'll see what we can crank out.

Hey! Anyone alive?

Glak: how many colours should the units have? 8-bit (256) or 24-bit (16777215)? I need to know pretty soon.

Right now, an uncompressed 50x50x50 unit voxel graphic takes about 100k for 256 colours. It'd be 400k for 24-bit.

What do you think?

Sorry, Lack, but I don't think there's any market for a civ-like game anymore. It's a good idea which is desperately needed, but with Civ III coming out soon, people have simply lost interest.

Me? I'd help, but I heard you're mostly looking for programmers, and all I have is some advanced C and basic C++, and I don't do Windows.

Maybe you could do a CivIII clone when it comes out...
