Topic: Space Elevator-Going Down...

I've been having a little problem w/ the Space Elevator project- doubling satellite production. My maxed out bases normally have about 260 minerals, so with the bonus I've got about 500- and the eco-damage starts getting kinda ugly. Anybody know how to fix this, or if it's sort of a bug??

How did you get 260 minerals? crawlers?

Been there... real funny, isn't it? The only thing i know of is to stop working some of the mines/boreholes/crawlers. You probably guessed that already. Maybe it is a glitch, but I doubt it... |

First, I turn off all the governors so they don't blow me up. Then, I make all the eco damage preventers (tree farm, etc...) at my small cities, along with some trance clean and/or trance police units, and some empath clean units. Now the small city is ready to make space equip, and still does it at a good rate. All units are as fast as I can make them so that the cities can support each other if needed. The empath units hit any swarms that pop up, and if I run out of them, the trance units hold off the rest. All the rest of my cities have some trance clean defenders also just in case some leak through. (also, remember to add armor to your formers so they do not get -50% non-combat unit in combat)I have also used this in the attack... You can establish a small city with boreholes in your opponents back line. Build a orbital whatsis & presto... you have 20 anrgy demon critters making a mess of someones back yard, and no rep damage at all. |
