I can live with the terrain graphics, but the unit graphics are too undetailed to look at for hours on end playing this game. Can Firaxis release an updated graphics pack for download or include updates to the graphics in the SMAC expansion pack?

Um, if my memory serves me correctly (and during finals week, that is debatable), the SMAC graphics are updated graphics. I mean, the first graphics were nothing compared to these. Makes you wonder how much bitching would occur then (even with the same great gameplay).
