Now Buster, this is a good topic. I applaud you for this one. It is actually one that we can have a conversation about. I don't know where it would go. I never play the normal map.

I placed it on the Huge Map of Planet along with the Nessus Canyon. I put the Borehole Cluster on the Left edge of the Island to the North that didn't already have a special landmark. I stuck the Nessus Canyon next to the Sunny Mesa (which I rose up a bit).

I was thinkin about putting it on the northern island because there are no good landmarks there.

What IS the borehole cluster? Where is it found (I was under th impression it appeared in pods, but I've never found one, so I could be wrong.)

The North Isle is too small for the Borehole Cluster, maybe on the long east continent.

Chowlett:

The Borehole Cluster is a cluster of three alien thermal boreholes, built by the same previous occupants of Planet who left behind the monoliths and artifacts. They work just like regular boreholes, but don't produce as much ecodamage.

Hope that answers your kwestion.

PS.

Quick question...does or will Preperation H turn the *Borehole Cluster* into a Condenser ?

I suggest putting it in the Upland Wastes, which is otherwise a rotten landing site (Morgan always seems to end up there, poor chap). I agree that the little northern island needs something --maybe it should be a little bigger? When an AI player lands, there they never seem to do well (secret is to riase terrain, which they never do).
