Hi all,
I bought AC recently and like it lots. However, two things keep bothering me - I wonder if I am doing something wrong here or overlooked it in the manual. For the record, I use the German version with the 2.0 patch.
1) When I probe someone anf try to blame it on another player, I either cannot do it at all or can blame only extinct factions. This happened only after I upgraded to 2.0, is this supposed to work this way now?
2) Sometimes when I get the 'Urgent message from...' popup, only the 'OK' button appears. I cant see the text or the dialog options that go with the popup, though. After clicking 'OK' two or three times, I get the message that my peace treaty with the other guy has been renewed/cancelled. Bug? Feature?

Oh, and could somebody please explain to me who or what 'Yin' is? I've seen it pop up in some threads, but cannot make much sense of it.

Julia, there is a bug in version 2.0 that only allows you to frame extinct factions.
The 'Urgent Message from...' and no message is a bug in the game.
The AI can renew or drop cease fire treaties at will, whenever you and he/she have units next to each other.
Yin was the ID of a frequent poster here on the forum.

Yin26(Yin) is the most hated/loved forumer since sliced bread. He's stopped posting here or has gotten a new account.
I think December Man is the Yin cult leader since Yin left ... (heh, I might be bashed at now )
I have no good experience of the problems you describe. Sorry J

Hey! Welcome to the forums. Well Julia, I assume your a girl, due to your name, but they have weird people on here, so I'm not saying that as fact until you say so. You may wany to go drop in one the thread "are their any girlies in this forum" and let they few that are here, that you are here. It would give them a boost.

Julia: no I'm not. . .well maybe just a little. . .he has been seen recently posting (last two days) on Apolyton's CTP web site. Boy is he ever creating havoc over there! . .huh, MarkG?
