How do I save my faction files made by acedit without it saying THE GAME READ ONLY SIX OPTIONS THAT ARE IN RED COLOR and deleting everything?

AC Edit is NOT a Firaxis or SMAC product. You should try asking this on the Games forum, or other SMAC General forum at other SMAC site, like Apolyton Forums or ACOL.
