I have been trying to get SMAC playing Head-to-Head on a little windows 98 network I setup at home. I get the "host" up and the game launched, the the "join" can not find a game to join.
Now I was able to get Links (golf) game to play multi, so I think IPX is ok.
I then setup TCP/IP and I am able to ping the other computers from each other. Read somewhere TCP/IP was perfered way of setup by support.
system pent 333/266, 128 meg mem, 10/100base-tx Ethernet and 8 port HUB.
What am I missing? Incressed the connections from 1 to 16 in IPX setup screen, network address set to 10 on each system.

Stupid operator error. problem fixed.... I just gotta learn to read some day.
