HI.
I use SMAC4.0 French.
When the game is in the 2324 year the game freezes.
The UC use is at 100%
I must kill the SMAC process (CTRL ALT DEL)... and the Terran.exe process after.
Please Help.
I can send the save file if it exists.
I try to reinstall the game to use the 3.0 patch... same result... FREEZE

Did you start this game prior to v4? A potential lockup was fixed in v4, but it's in the save file, so if it's a v3 or earlier save it could carry over.

Thanx for your reply Jeffrey.
I think that the v4 patch was already installed when i created the game.
I will retry a new game with SMAC4.0.
If it freezes again you will be the first person to know !!!

I'm getting this lockup as well, but in various years. After I load a game and while taking my turn, I hit space to skip that unit's turn, and the game locks.

jaustin: This problem was fixed in v4, though saves that already have the behavoir with exhibit it under v4. Did you start the game with v4 installed?
