To clarify, will SMAC 4.0 behave better if it is not laid over the old version 3.0? |

how bout some help on installation. I've tried several times with no luck. There are no instructions in the readme. thanks MK9 :-)) |

The exe file simply extracts into a directory. There's a checkbox called "overwrite files?". Make sure the directory listed in the field is the directory where the game is, and the box is checked, then hit 'OK'. You're done. Alternatively, you can extract into any old directory, then copy all the files to your SMAC directory, and say 'yes' when it asks to overwrite files. ~mindlace |

It's pretty much like mindlace says. The only thing odd is that on french/german/spanish there are two extractions. The first one extracts patch.exe, then a dos window pops up briefly, then it prompts you to extract smacp4fr/gr/sp.exe. jkm firaxis games |
