Is it possible to play by TCP-IP a previously saved PBEM game? Just a thing like this. Start a PBEM game. After few turns decide to speed up things a little, load the saved game and continue it in a TCP-IP session and then save it and return playing it by e-mail. If this is possible, how? Just load and save as usual?

Yes, it is. Just load the saved PBEM as you would any other saved MP game.
One restriction: the PBEM must have been saved after all human factions have moved for the turn and before the first one starts moving for the next turn.
