If I try with an aircraft to attack a ground unit beside a base-square, my system crashes and I get a MS-DOS window stating only CNR, can somebody HELP ME!! (I have eventually restart an earlier game and even destroy my own aircrafts to get further)

I too am having the same problem, except when someone attacks one of my ground units near my base with an air unit. Was there any resolution?
