a lot of people complain about not being able to install the patch and the message "No old files found, or contents do not match".
The reasons for errors are:
1. the patch is designed for a different version (UK, US...etc)
2. the .exe file may be affected by a CIH virus or somehow changed
3. you have a warez version of the game (shame on you...wanker)
Solution:
1)buy the ORIGINAL game
2)re-install the ORIGINAL, not pirated game, 3)do not run it
4)apply the patch
5)run the game
6)start Netscape
7)come to these forums
8)start pissing about the new bugs that came as a "gift" with the new patch the in GAME section of the forums

It is not only the Terran.exe. I got this message twice:
The patcher was working on the alpha.txt/labels.txt files (I changed both). After re-installing it worked.
It didn't complain about the Terran.exe file.
