Is there any chance of getting SMAC to work on a Win NT system? I bought the game before I got NT, and my Dad's computer isn't fast enough to run it.

The game works on NT. Some soundcard's have problems, but this is primarily because NT's directsound support (in MS's own words) is "crude". SMAC itself should work fine.

for some reason, when I originally installed it after NT, it kept getting locked up just after the Firaxis screen, and the install guide indicated that NT wasn't supported. Just re-installed and it works, though I'm getting some of those terran.exe errors that I didn't get before. Oh well, at least it plays.
