I wanted to play on a planet with no land on it, or alternatively with just a few one-dot islands with ocean shelf around them, but I could'nt figure out how to do it.
How do I get less than 70-90% land?
Can I make it all water and still make some shallow parts (less than 1000 meters)?

Just go into the scenario editor and start a new map, then just get rid of all the land nad save it as a map. Then to play, just select 'load map' on the menu for map size and continue normaly.
