I download the demo version of AC from this webpage. When I installed it and tried to start it, it told me that I am missing a file call dplay.dll and the program exits. I don't want to download the whole game over again somewhere else since it will take well over several hours, can someone email me the required file?

That's a directX file, just get the latest install file of directx form almost any magazine cover CD.
