Well, another simular Problem ..
I have
300 mhz pentium II with MMX Tech
66mhz bus
128 Ram (Sdram)
512kb BSDRAM on pross. Mod.
8 gig Hard drive ( 3.79 gigs Free)
ATI 3D RAGE Pro AGP2X
I defragged hard drive per instructions
windows manages memory
tried graphics accelerator on and off
Game seems to stop at random spots. If I go back a year in the saved games and start again and do not to the same thing (event) I can usually play past problem. if I do same then, i.e. attack worm boil, that caused the fault, fault repeats itself. This happens even after shutting down and rebooting the next day so I do not think this is a heating problem.. I have nothing clocked. I do have Norton utilities on systen but it is diabled ..here are some of the faults I have recieved..

I am not exactly sure about the the descriptions of what action I was taking, but I think you can figure that out from the notes at bottom of each fault...
I like the game but this sort of irritates me...can you help ?

The graphics card is the only thing that worries me. Did you try setting the hardware acceleration to 0 in the system control panel or some direct3d one? To get the one that often causes problems like this, right-click on my computer, select properties, then performance, then graphics. Set this slider to 0. What's DXDiag.exe think of the drivers? Also, is this version 3? If so, send me the saves at [email protected].
