Greetings,
I've just purchased the game and am enjoying it thoroughly. However, one of the aspects I enjoyed about the previous games in this family (Civ/Civ2) was the ability to choose specific technology to research. This would allow me to better focus my attention on a specific strategy, which is extremely important when playing multiplayer. =)
Unfortunately, despite perusing the help screens for what seemed like hours, I can't figure out how to choose the specific technology that I want to research. All that I get is the "research priorities" screen which lets me specify which areas I want to focus on, but even that doesn't seem too consistent, because despite having not checked CONQUER, I am further ahead in that area of tech than anything else.
Basically, the question I have is how does one go about choosing specific technology to research? I'm certain there must be a way, and that I'm somehow missing it.

You must diable the "Blind Research" setting in the custom options before starting a game.
Unfortunatly, the only way to chance to setting during game, is to use the cheatmenu.
