In Non-SMAC related, in the thread "to all homophobics", Xenoman posted a picture of Madonna giving a blowjob. PLease delete said post, and ban Xenoman permanatley from all these forums. (In addidtion, alot of people are posting abuse against gays on the forum, saying such things as they as they will one day be legally murdered. It would be very nice of you to "correct this situation. Thanks,

Cool, man - if ya hadn't advertised it, I never would have known, as I'm sure most people wouldn't. I agree the graphic should be removed, but banning Xenoman for any lenght of time is bullsh*t censorship. The other messages are repulsive, as are their twisted authors, but again censorship on an unmoderated forum is wrong. It is by letting them rant out that we and they can see how odious there views are, and how much in the minority they are.
If you really wanted to do something about that pic, you could have emailed the webmaster, rather than posted here where nobody from Firaxis will read it. Just a helpful hint.

In this case, MtG, I think Xenoman SHOULD be banned. Otherwise, EA is at risk to showing under 18/21/whatever to images that are illegal in an uncontrolled way. Its not like language. Xeno had to go out of its way to post that crap. So, if Xeno did it, let Xeno pay the price. You aren't suppose to do that, and we know it. So did Xeno.
Censorship sucks, but a certain level is a constant in any society.

DS, I generally agree, but it is too difficult to enforce - he can always come on here as another ID, and even through different IPs, so IP blocking is rarely effective.
The Non-SMAC forum has some "interesting" stuff in it that points to all the difficulties of unmoderated free speech online, but I think the best thing is to remove the pic, then disable the HTML features which allow pics to be posted. Then again, there's idiots like k_shane with his references to godhatesfags.com, another embarrassment to the net and humanity in general.
Since a ban is unenforceable in a practical sense, we should appeal to Xeno to show more common sense and respect the rules, but we should also make the same appeal to black dragon - I never would have known about the Xeno post or found it if it wasn't for black dragon.
The problem is that if we all don't show at least a minimum degree of maturity, EA and Firaxis will just drop the forums - and so will any other host who's worried about some right wing idiot District Attorney trying to make a name for himself linking computer games and kiidie porn and the devil and the apocolypse, etc.
