how can I obtain the patch for upgrade my 2.0 italian game version to the 3.0 ?
I try with the other languages patches but they don't work .
How there is not it on the downoading pages ?

According to Firaxis, the italian version of patch 3 is in beta testing.
That's been already answered, but this forum doesn't keep a FAQ, so I understand is impossible to avoid the same questions bring back every time

One month has past since the 2 messages above were posted and we're still waiting for the italian patch. What's up with it? Any news?

The italian v3 of SMAC was put on hold so that the italian v4 could be released along with the other v4 languages (very soon). Due to the italian translators time being extremely in demand however, it started lagging behind the other languages. Italian v4 will re-enter testing on this monday and hopefully be released shortly after the English, French, German and Spanish v4 patches are released. We're doing everything we can to push it through EAQA as quickly as possible.
