Well, I've installed this game today and I was just wondering if the 3.0 update will do the job, since he is smaller than the others (german, italian, etc...). Is there any problem in installing the 3.0 update after the first game install ? And why the huge size difference between the patches ? (3.4 for Ita, Uk, Ger and 1.8 for US)
Just another doubt, what is the difference between UK and US version ? Does it spells 'water' with the british accent ? hehehe just joking !

install version 3.0, it can't hurt. If you don't like it, re-install the game again!
About the sizes, that's down to the un-compressed exe's aslo might be related to the stupid CD protection that us poor Brits ( err, and our commonwealth! LOL ) suffered with in the early days!
Err, if you're just started out - I'll warn you now, expect to lose the next few days coz of SMAC'ing!
