I have the aforementioned sound card! Is this compatible? I always crash in multiplayer mode! Sound sometimes gets erratic and slowsdown. Will patch 4.0 fix this or is patch 3.0 th cause of it? someone needs to address this right away I would love to finish a game. It is a fatal error!

I too have the aforemention card and would also have crashes. The solution is to set the EAX and DS3D settings to 0. I believe that this problem is going to be fixed in the 4.0, as that was what a return email said.
