My boyfriend bought me this game, knowing how much I enjoyed Civ2. But I only have a laptop (Siemens) machine on Win NT. It said in the box that the game doesn't support Win NT, but I tried to install it anyway and it worked!!! The game worked for about a week before I suddenly couldn't start it. It hangs on "terran.exe". So: Is this a laptop-problem? Can anyone help me? |

I play SMAC on a Laptop too, but without any problems. This is a way for me to play SMAC in multiplayer. I can say: It is not a problem hanging on the Laptop (I tryed laptop - installation and full installation) - but i use Win98. I cant still be the host or the client without problems. If I help you, the dates: Win98 / Celeron 366 / 64 MB / 4MB Ati AGP grafikboard / 1024x768 |
