A bug occurs when the following conditions are met:

1. A sea unit is about to explore a Unity pod one square away.

2. The sea unit has exactly 2 movement points left.

If the pod turns out to be an Isle, then the sea unit loses the last movement point, i.e., stops moving. This is disastrous since you can't attack the Isle as the last move.

Another glitch, while not a bug, is also annoying. The MFD displays the movement points left for the active unit, but it should also code it in color a la the hit points. That is, if the unit has 80% or more of its max movement points at the beginning of the turn, color it green, between 50%-79%, color it yellow, otherwise, color it red.

Serves you right for risking it with only one movement to go.

Don't recall it ever happening to me though.

Happened to me so often I assumed that it was a feature, not a bug. Doesn't hitting a Unity pod at sea always cost an extra movement point?

I have noticed this bug too. GaryD - the point is you have *two* movement points remaining. Other results from unity pods do not cost two movement points. I'm not sure if the native life form results always cost 2 or only if you only have 2 points left - I only tend to notice it when it matters!

Mergle,

This doesn't happen when you have more movement points, so it can't be the isles that are costing you extra.

Some of you have not been paying attention to the game. It does cost two movement points whenever a seapod is infested with IOD/MW.

It has annoyed me as well, but I guess it is the movement cost of escaping the pod when it is swallowed
