I have a serious problem with planet busters.

Could this weapon be any more lame? I mean, I drop one on a city, I see this big ass mushroom cloud, and when its gone, theres a small hole in the ground and the city is gone. Yet the farms, and mines, and roads, etc are all still there! You mean to tell me there are no fires, earthquakes, nothing?
I understand the scale and all, but come one Firaxis, if this thing can lower the target terrain square down to sea level, why doesn't anything happen to the surrounding squares other than the fact they lower to match the lands grade?

One problem I've found with planet busters is in scenarios. In one certain scenario, I was playing as the Gaians versus the Morganites. The objective was for me to capture 3 key Morganite cities to win. For him to win, he had to capture my capital. But before the scenario was over, he dropped a planet buster on my capital. No more city. The game continued on, but I decided to quit, because without my capital, dosen't that somehow screw the whole objective of the scenario up? Odd.

Think u used a fission PB right? Thus the 1 tile damage. The damage from a PB depends on the reactor .... so a singularity PB will drop every tile 4 sqs from the impact site & that is really scary..........

foxr - you should be able to use the scenario editor to disable PB use.
