how can i do this? i want to play music CDs while playing... |

BenedictHamilton, You can do a complete install, then you don't have to have the CD in to play the game. I've heard that you'll miss out on the voice-overs though. The best solution: Buy a $29.00 portable CD player. Run a 1/8" stereo patch cord from the headphones jack to the line in jack on your sound card and voila! You now have both music and no lost game sounds. You may need to experiment a little with the mix controls on your sound card software to get a good balance. Once you have done this, you can make minor adjustments to the music level with the volume control of your portable. Try not to set the sliders to the max on anything or you may end up with distortion from amp clipping. Good Luck. JAMiAM |
