Hello kind people,I have the Monster Sound M80 with the most recent drivers v1.07.06. I am also running the most recent version of DirectX which I believe to be version 6.2.
The problem is that as I play Alpha Centauri v3.0, the game frequently crashes with a GPF in the module "sound.dll".
Is it possible that the most recent drivers for the M80 card (which are dated July 9, 1998!!!!!) are not fully and completely compatible with DirectX 6.2? Or is something else going on here?
Keep in mind that I run Baldur's Gate with no problems whatsoever. (Baldur's Gate, however, does not require DirectX 6...)
