I installed the Enhancement 3 and experienced the "blue screen of death" when a Secret Project movie begins to load. To try to fix it, I reinstalled Alpha Centauri and the Enhancement again. But again it crashed. I have a P133 w/80MB RAM, Soundblaster AWE32, Millenium PCI 2MB video, standard install.
The crash was:
fatal exception 00 has occurred at 0028:C11C25EF in VXD DSOUND(03)+000005BB
I ran the DirectSound test and the results are:
Failure at step 10(Secondary buffer): HRESULT=0x80070057
The DirectX Driver Tool indicates:
SB AWE 32 Direct Sound Drive[220]
Module: SB16.VXD
Version: 4.38.00.0016
Driver is certified
DirectSound Version: 4.05.00.0165 DirectX 5
Are there any fixes for this (I didn't have any problems with version 2)???

I'd start by installing DX 6.1. Once the error with the directsound test is solved, the movie problem will most likely be to.
