First of all, I've been playing SMAC with great pleasure on my Pentium 200 without any problems whatsoever (apart from it being slow).
However, my newly acquired computer (pentium 3 450 - 128 Mb ram - 8 Mb Sis Video - Sb16 - 4gb hd, 3gb free) is giving me a terran crash when trying to set up a new game. At the very moment I try to go to the Custom name screen, I get thrown to the desktop with this error msg -
TERRAN caused a fault with regard to an invalid page in module SOUND.DLL op015f:1000987d.

I am not so happy with this. Does anyone know what's causing this error?

Thanks,
Philip
